Exclamation New Member - Just bought an E36

Hey all.. well, I'm new here... I just bought my E36 the other day... and loving it. It's a 92 318I.... not bad for a first car. Fully loaded.. black on black leather interior.. heated seats/mirrors... dual climate... etc. etc.

Now, I have a couple questions about my new girlfriend-replacement.

1) The moonroof is two stage... (it can be raised, or slid back...) ... when it is raised, the interior part does not slide all the way back.. is this supposed to happen? It gives enough clearance for air to pass through... because the interior panel will slide around 8 inches down. Does this make sense?.. if not, I can take pics and show ya what I mean.

2) My ignition switch it sticky... sometimes it'll stay 'stuck' in position 3so the starter is continually turning... is there a way to fix this without having it replaced? (i currently sometimes have to 'pull' it back to Position 2.

3) My windshield washer spray isn't working at all. It doesn't even try to pump the fluid. I checked the fuses, they're all okay. Is there anything I should do before attempting to switch the pump?

4) My rear lights 'flicker' when the car is idiling... just slightly, but enough to worry me. What is the cause of this? ... I think it'll only happen when the engine is cold...

5) My rear right window switch works fine.. the window works fine... but the switch doesn't light up. Is there a way to change the bulb inside it w/o having to change the switch? (by the way.. the light was working when I brought the car home 3 days ago.. they just put a new switch in there...)

Thanks in advance,

NC
