New guy-just bought a Z

Hey guys i just bought a 92z TT, it has 120,000. My plans are to rebuild the bottom end with JE 8:5:1 pistons, eagle rods, new bearings, and new valves. Then 2 new TD05 turbos, upgrade ECU, exhaust, intake, boost controller, and BOV's then raise the boost up. I'm pretty new to the z so i was wondering what level of boost this setup can handle?

Thanks guys

Welcome..

Congratulations your purchase, and welcome to the Z car community. You might find the information you need a little quicker and a little easier by stopping by the following websites:

http://www.twinturbo.net
http://www.zcar.com (see the 90-96 tech forums)
http://www.z32.org

Between these three sites you should be able to learn anything you want to know about your new ride. Post some pics when you get 'em!! =D

Enjoy the ride!

Wow that's alot of mods..pistons rods and upgraded twins...you should be looking at clsoe to 600-700HP...you WILL NEED larger intercoolers, larger injectors, and a better fuel pump. Possibly a new tranny (hehe), a damn good clutch, and some slicks to get it down at the track!

I saw this guy w/twin TD05's put down around 700 at the wheels...he runs 10's to high 9's in the quarter.

Best of luck and lets see the pics!!!
