Great Dio, but i need to know a few things:

am i correct in assuming the figures are 1/18?

are they available on their own?

how much were they?

Where did you get them?

and good job getting the lifts, when i looked at them they were $150

From what I'm looking at, I think the figures are from the Jada Toys Initial D Series (which came in both 1:24 and 1:18) They seem to be hard to find in my area.

Like this one...

The GMP lifts you can find in any online diecast stores for $40.00...

Hey,

WoW. That's a cool set up you have there. Nice collection too. Can you post pics of the bently speed please? I wanted one, but was turned off by the non opening parts. I think that was a bad move by AA. I mean...I want precision, and they're offering a well decaled and painted model. I want funcionality as well!!...uh...welcome to AF...sorry for the longness:-D

im seeing alot of ppl on this forum asking questions in every post about where to get certain cars and accessories or they seems to overpaid for what they purchased. My suggestion is to familiarized urself with the hobby and all the brands first (via diecast forums, dcx mags, etc..) and use the the "INTERNET", esp. ebay to "SEARCH" before starting a nice collection, like A4 has shown here, for urself. If you know the brands you will know their price ranges. also, stick with US vendors/sellers, no matter if ur in the US or overseas, b/c nobody in the world has better deals than the US when it comes to this hobby.

sorry about the confusion, i meant $150 Australian.

i saw it for that price but didn't buy it (i dont have any lifts) but i've seen them for $40 US, but to get one over here it'll cost about $70 AUST

Thank you all for the good comments.

To answer HKS_Kansei's questions:

Yes, the figures in the my diorama are 1/18th scale and Hobbes is correct they are from an the Jada Toys Initial D 1/18th diecast. ( I bought the diecast just so I could get the figures, 1/18th scale figures are very hard to find.) I dont believe you can get them on your own, I wish you could. The Initial D diecast retails for $29.99 US.

As for the lifts, the price seems to vary out there. I purchase my two post lift from a seller on ebay by the name of "inspireddiecast". I believe the GMP 2 post lift was around $30 US. and the 4 post lift was around $35 or $40. Actually I just check ebay and he has both up for auction right now.

Blubaja: My Bentley is still boxed like a lot of my other diecast but i will dig it out and snap a photo for you. Im not to happy about the sealed body either but the diecast is so detailed that I can live with it. If you are a big fan of LeMans racing as I am dont pass on this diecast, it is well worth the money.
