rev limiter
I just installed the SR20det into my 89 240sx. I dont have a working tach yet and I would like to know if anyone knows what the stack rev limiter is set at. I am so afraid to rev my car because I have no idea of the redline. Thanks.

i know the sr has a higher redline than the ka but not for sure the exact numbers. i would just keep it safe and dont push much more than 7-7.5 some where around there untill you get your tach workin

If you want an Apex'i Rev and Speed Limiter. We have them for sale for... We'll call it $140 even. It's a basic piggy back system (goes directly on your ECU) and you can custom set-up everything. If your at all interested, re-post.

Maybe I wasnt clear in my prior post. Did Nissan program a rev limit in the computer, meaning does it keep the engine from going over a certain RPM? I would find out for myself, but the whole idea of blowing up my fresh engine swap if their isnt a rev limit doesnt seem like a good idea.

s13 sr redlines at 7500.
s14 and s15 sr redline at 7200

what do you listen to? do we make fun of it? is he picking on your music? no. back to the question. you're asking if there's a rev limiter/fuel cutoff, which the sr does have...

Yea sorry if Im white. And if I like death metal. Its by no means mainstream, and its just what IM into. Im not trying to crack on you bud. But its not even all that angry. Heres a nice lyric from ZAO -All else failed
