04 GTP Boost question???

I have also been doing the Maxima/Gtp comparison...I have ordered the GTP but it was a tough choice...They are both great daily driver cars, and that is what i was looking for...My question is what pully/boost level can you safely run, with the factory GM programming, and possible a good CAI

I run a 3.4 with no problems. and all I have is a FWI. does great. the 3.0 is too much. it won't work I have to get exhaust before I can try that one again

00GTP: Why do you need a better exhaust with the 3.0 , is it because of excess heat with more boost? Going to the 3.4 how much more boost do you get, and have you dynoed before and after?

I had too much backpressure, and I it was detinating and KR was through the roof. I need 3" all the way back, that would help me not have backpressure. I did not dyno but there is a noticeable difference... trust me it is worth it. look on clubgp.com. you will be able to find a pully for less than you can get it from pully boys.

FYI: you need to find some one that has the puller. it won't work with a normal pully puller. Trust me I tried. It screwed the SC up. I had to end up rebuilding it.
