Timing belt?
I have a 98 Maxima and I was wondering if they have timing belts or something else. I don't know much about timing belts so i'de appreciate the help.

it's not a belt on these cars it's a chain. and it's got a self adjusting tensioner on it so you won't have to adjust it. just keep it lubricated. i had a friend that had a 91 maxima with almost 300.000 miles on it and when it finally seized it was cuz the chain snapped.
