Different Type of Project...

Ok this is not about cars but...

So i was getting a little frustrated from building the Big skyline... it is my current project... I needed another happy thing to keep me sane.

So i went online and started looking at these model planes I used to build when I was a kid. And I started to think I wish they still made these... because they are discontinued kits. So the same day i got to my hobby shop and im going to my car isle, then... that is when i saw it....

a Hasegawa... non scale... EGG SERIES PLANE!!! =D

It was the space shuttle that i made back in when I was in middle school... now they have it again luckly... I picked it up for 8 dollars, and I went home and finished this puppy in like 4 hours.... painting and everything.

Fun and relaxing... juss what i needed...guess we modelers also need breaks eh? now back to the project at hand before.

here are the pix =D

Came with a base its actually earth but i dont plan to paint it... and then a little astronaunt that is outside at space...

pretty cool eh ? =D

It's great
You should've weathered it: out of scale, but realistic.

It's very cute. I do remember the past....when you buy 3 egg series, they give you a egg series poster. I still have a F-16 fighting falcon and Sea Harrier not build yet, by looking your pcs, make me want to build it too....Hahahaha!!! It's really cute...

haha, I know these egg planes are pretty interesting... imangine if they tried to do this with cars?!?!

yeah u know what i mean...

haha but still these are pretty cool little side models that people can do inbetween project. There are many of these egg planes but, they are unforunately discountinued... but maybe on spot production, because I do see them on the interent. HLJ got a few of them, Ebay has a few of them...

If people are interested in these eggs, u should get them.

Rtuned, I had the Harrier and the F16 when I was younger, i trashed those of course. Im thinking of going onto Ebay and buying them back, and start a collection again.

List of Eggs...

F14A
F16C
F18A
Space Shuttle
SR71
F-86
Zero
747 in different livaries.

Again great models to have =D even if they arn't your average cars =D

Cheers,
Peter

Actually, someone did a series of motorized egglike F1 cars some time ago. It was either Hasegawa or Fujimi, I believe. The scale was not stated. I saw the Lotus 88?? from this series a few months ago, but rejected it as being too bizzare. Now you have me wishing that I had purchased it.
