In Progress: Avex Dome NSX JGTC

After taking a break from modelling due to exams, I've started a new project for the next few weeks. The subject is Tamiya's Avex Dome NSX from the 1997 JGTC championship. The build will be mainly OOB with a few c/f decals here and there, and I intend to practice a few techniques on this kit before using them on a few more interesting projects

The body is painted in TS-26 Pure White and TS-15 Blue. 90% of the white areas on the car are covered by decals that you can see in the second picture. Masking job doesn't have to be accurate as any paint bleeding will be covered by decals

Test fitting the interior anc engine to the chassis, all went together well. Shame the engine is barely visible when complete though

Good luck on this build, it's a lovley livery I think. A bit decal intense but just work your way through and it'll look stunning.

Good luck, this looks beautiful if the decals go on well.

Wow, I didn't realize the decals covered so much of the body! Good luck with this one!

I find this model's decal is very challenging. Be carefully with the bonnet air hole area, it needs to be very accurate to cover all white area. also, you should have leave the light part white, the decal is clear on that part..good luck n enjoy!!
