Childhood(was it good or bad)

I would have to say.

Mine was damn good. Heh, was a wee bit spoiled back in those days too. I used to have ALL the thundercats toys, Ghostbusters toys. You name it I had it Light bright had to be my personal favorite thing back then. I mean, Sure I grew up living with my mom my whole life. I was to young to worry about a divorce back in 1983. But now that I look back on my life, I realize I am also very VERY lucky to an extent. I'm grateful Im still sitting here today. Able to look at my past, Instead of being 6 ft under. I mean, my childhood, was great. I had a wonderful caring mom, she still cares, just not as much me thinks. But, as I look back, I'm grateful to the fullest extent.

So does anyone else have a fond memory.
And what i meant by 6 ft under, I meant. DEAD!!!!

So was mine. I wish I could go back to those days, cause life was good then. Parents buying me toys, school was easy, didnt have to have a job, good friends, no worries.

My dad has always been a cock to me. By that I mean that he has been really strict at times, infact way to strict alot of times, but he meant well by it and I think that good or bad, it has had quite an influence on me. My mom was always the soft one. Id ask dad for something, and he would say no, so I would ask mom, and 9 times out of 10, she would let me.

I can remember dad grounding me countless times meaning no TV or Video Games, or going out of the house. As soon as he would go to work, mom would let me watch some tv. It was a good understanding, cause dad never found out, and it made mom happy to see that I was happy.

[sigh]Life was so much easier then[/sigh]

Except for the occasional bully to deal with, it was ok. I much prefer being an adult to anything under 20 but, overall I dont have much to complain about.

Well let's see. I didn't have many friends, I was picked on, and my dad missed about 6 of my birthdays. Other than that it was great.

Nothing to complain about here. I wouldn't change anything about it.

I guess a question that should have been asked is "At what age does your childhood end?"

I used my life from when I was born to age 13 in my post. If I had to include my highschool life in it, then I would say my life was hell.

I had a good childhood. I cant even really remember anything that was bad. Every thing was pretty cool.
I was the only boy in a family of girls and therefore my old man looked after me. I think i was kinda his favorite.
There was a age gap of 10 years from me being the youngest to the next, so i always had someone to play with. Plus my sister's thought it was cool to have a little brother and all wanted to look after me.

All in all I had a pretty good childhood. Did lots of moving around from country to country and place to place. I was finally glad when we settled down in the one place and I made new friends and everything. Can’t say as anything traumatic at all happened to me as a kid. Pretty smooth sailing really.

I would like to think that i am still going through my childhood. I was lucky cause when i actually experienced it, i thought my brothers were the biggest jerks alive. but as i think back i had the coolest brothers a guy could ask for. all my siblings say that i was spoiled. growing up, things were really laid back, i'd just go to school then come home and go to the beach. it was awesome!

Great. I experimented with explosives a lot and still have all my fingers! It only killed me once though. ~must eat brains~

Mine was sweet, despite being a bit of a nerd, but I had a lot of friends was never picked on.

My Mother was (And still is) A compulsive neat-freak, who couldn't admit she was wrong and tried to control my life- But I still liked her, when she was in a good mood and I was the second oldest of 4 children so I had come control over my brothers and sisters
