Re: engine swap (need info bad)
d16a1 will bolt up to your tranny....not to sure if the 88 teg clutch splines will match up to the tranny. theres some wiring mods that you will have to do as well as swapping driver side motor mounts. IMO i would use the teg tranny as well as the front knuckles n axles.

Re: engine swap (need info bad)
as far as i know, the d16a1 out of a first gen integra doesnt bolt into our cars. and that it was take some fabrication to fit it in. like moving where it mounts to the car. good luck.

Re: engine swap (need info bad)
86-89 Integra engines have the same mounts as the 84-87 Civic, not the 88-91 so it won't bolt in. Making custom mounts is sort of a waste of time because you might as well get a DOHC ZC engine instead since they're more powerful.

Re: engine swap (need info bad)
Personnally i wouldnt bother with that engine. Its the american version of the dohc zc. Not too much for power and it would take to much to get it.

Re: engine swap (need info bad)
ecm=electronic control module
ecu= electronic control unit SAME THING The best intake manifold would prolly be the one already on the engine. Otherwise i dont know which engine that you decided on. |
