Hood Problem

I have a 94 SL2 with a hood latch that won't work. Anyone know how to get it open without damaging the hood?

jack the car up in the front, pull out that big ugly peice of plastic inder the front of the car, throw it away,(you will get better and coller air flow without it), then try to reach the cable with a pair of pliers and pull it. that should do the trick
