hood problem :-(

hey, I just installed my new hood on my car. First of all when it was done i noticed a big gap from the fender and the hood on one of the sides. :-( To top it all off. I now cant even pop the hood open. When i got in the car and pulled the lever to open it, it was loose and went all the way back and didnt even pop the hood. I have no way of opening the hood now. Can this be fixed at a dealer???? Will it be expensive to fix???

just reach for the cable from under the hood and pull on it to open your hood. You should be able to just align and remount with no help from the dealer.

I had a similar problem when I installed my Cervini's fiberglass hood. I had to pull really hard on the hood release to get it to pop. Once you get your hood open, look at the latch that's near the radiator (not the one on the hood), and there are 2 bolts (10mm I think). If you loosen these bolts, you can adjust the position of the latch a little bit. Then tighten up the bolts and you'll be set...
