change oil light

does anyone know how to turn off the change oil light? mine wouldn't go off after the last oil change.

You have to reset it after every oil change. If you open the driver side fuse box, you will see the red rectagular reset button. Turn your ignition on, either hold it or press that button. The change oil light will blink. Press or hold it again. Something like that. Check your manual.

If there isn't a red reset switch in the panel, or even if there is, you can reset it using the gas pedal.

Turn the key to the on position which is when all the lights and dings start going on. When the change oil light is on, press the gas pedal down 3 times within a 5 second period. the light will flash a few times then go off. You cna then turn the key back to off and then restart it and the light should be off after that.

When you reset it using the red button in the panel, Turn the key to the on position, hold the button in until until the light flashes and sometimes you will hear a series of beeps. that will signify that it is reset.
