new paint job costs, experiences?

Since my car was hit this past weekend, i need a new fender, and also to blend the door and bumper... its going to cost around $800-$900

Im thinking mabye i should just go ahead and get a new paint job since the cost to repair is so high anyways. How much should i expect to pay for a good paint job. Im guessing around $1,400 or somewhere around there?

anyone got some past experiences, good or bad, they wouldnt mind telling?
