Re: Paint Job cost???

You should get a few body shops to quote on it. You can spend anywhere from $300 to $3000 on a basic paint job. Body work will of course add to this depending on what you need. I would still say that a simple paint job at a reputable shop would be between $1200 and $1700. This would include some body work such as dings and normal wear and tear.

At my shop in NYS, the materials to do this properly, (2 stage) based on condition of the old paint would be 400 materials and about 50-60 hours labor at 45/ hours plus incidentals. This would be the absolute minimum.

Macco has deals, but you get what you pay for.

As what others have said, a good quality paint job probably starts at $3K
