Paint job cost
How much would a good paint job cost for a 944? What if I did the prepwork myself? How much would prepwork cost and how long should it take? Any suggestions? Thanks.

It all depends on where you go. A good paint job for a Honda and a good paint job for a 944 should cost the same. Around here I would say around 2grand is about what you can expect for a good paint job. However it all depends where you go and how much you do your self. I have seen guys do the prep work all them selves then go to Macco to get them sprayed and they turned out great.

I used to do some professional auto detail, and some of the jobs we got were from Maaco. We did there cut-n-buff after they wetsanded it, but i still was a bad paint job with countless mistakes.
