Unhappy 84 735i NO HEAT in Germany HELP

I recently arrived to Germany and found a 84 735i all works well except the heater/defrost. When driving hot air does blow out the defrost vents in the front. Would like some help to get the heater going as it is starting to get cold here. It is actually a 735ia euro model. Thank you
