97 Regal-how to clear Change Oil soon light

Yes just got the used engine in, runs good and quiet. But the Change Oil Soon light remains on the dash after startup for a minute or so.

How do I clear this message since the oil and filter are new?

Key on engine off, step on the gas pedal to the floor 3x in 5 secs. lite will flash and reset.

Thanks Maxwedge, I will give that a try! I was thinking it was one of the buttons by the oil life monitor readout (my LCD readout is burned out)
