How is the change oil soon light on a 1998 Chevy Lumina cancelled after you change the oil? Do not have a owners manual.

first put turn the key to the fully on position (do not start it!) nexed press gas pedal 3 times slowly . the light should start blinking when it does start the car and your oil light should be off
