I have one photo in my collection of the Blue F1 - #018 - in Japan. I will put it up here when I get home.

The one correction to make on the list, and it's a very recent development, is that the short tail LARK GTR #13R is no longer in Japan.

There was another post recently from coffey that showed photos of it on the MaranelloMotorsort website, so I will allow you to draw your own concluson from that. ;)

How sure are you about those? And could you also confirm the # of the burgundy GT? Is it #058F1GT?

About no. 7 in the list: the yellow F1. The chassis list mentions #014 Titanium Yellow and #060 yellow. Which one would it be? And the pictures of the yellow one, that's clearly in the states, and shown in picture below, is that the same car, or a repaint? It doesn't have the signature, shown in the ELG Engineering video.

Presumably #018. Screendumps from video needed.

Styledoesnotscream has taken some pictures of #018 when it was for sale in Germany some weeks ago. It is grey with HDF kit, and is like this for years.
So, the number you presume is wrong, or this car was in Japan in the past. When the video has been made ?

including all the race model ,total 72 cars ...ok got news that 2 crashing then 70 car still on the road,i doubt that japan have large number of F1 . About the ELG engineering do service for "international" Mclaren owner ,so some car do sent to japan for servicing. (correct me if i wrong)

Both I guess. There's already a split in the list, where the last ones are known to have moved. #018 probably has moved since the ELG video. I guess we can put the 018 on the bottom of the list too then.

I just searched for the thread where SDC apparently posted pix of it in Germany at a dealer. Those were hosted at the Flinger site, which is now offline. SDC, or anyone, could you post them again?

About the ELG engineering do service for "international" Mclaren owner ,so some car do sent to japan for servicing. (correct me if i wrong)

Interesting fact. Who would have done that? Asian & Australian owners? All other places in the world I would definately ship it to England for best service.

sweet, another LM down. I had LM2 and LM5 listed as possibly being in northern England (it was either one or the other), so if LM2 is in japan, it looks as if LM5 might be in northern England. Sweet.

My photo of #018 in Japan was taken in 1995. It would seem that car has changed hands a few times. I believe that the refit to Dk Gray/HDF Kit was covered briefly in RacingLine Magazine, but I do not know the issue.

One more night of debauchery here in Sin City and then I'll get the photo posted. :evillol:

Taken February 5th, 1995 at the Nagoya Performance Car Show. It's somewhat hard to read, but behind the front wheel, and below the side marker light you can see a 'ZENT' sticker, which gives a direct tie in to the ZAZ Museum, not to mention the fact that both are in Nagoya.

This pic has been posted before, but this is the same car in Oslo, Norway taken in 1999. This would have been when Meissner owned it I believe.

Sometime between then and January 2002 it would get the refit to it's current look, but I am not certain exactly when that occurred.

Here is that isssue of Rosso magazine if anyone wants it. If the price wasn't so high, I might think of buying it just for the pictures. It would be great if someone could translate the article for us, it could help reveal some info on the the cars.

Yep, I mentioned that before. And with Peloton's foto of it, where it has a ZENT sticker, I think that settles it. Still waiting for photos of #018 inside of ZAZ museum though :D

Ron Denis had four for a long time. Not sure if he still does, since he was making efforts to sell them two years ago.

Was 018 also owned by Tomas Bscher. There was an article in a UK magazine years ago when it was talking about his 200mph daily commutes and the car looked just like the blue 018.

I saw #018 this january in Germany in Leonberg at a dealership (above Gemballa Porsche tuner) and it was darkgreay with high downforce kit.

but it wasnt blue definitely!

Would be unlikely if it now is blue though!

Yep, I read that a few threads ago. And as I stated....

#018 probably has moved since the ELG video. I guess we can put the 018 on the bottom of the list too then.

....#018 has moved since 1995 (data photo posted by Peloton), to Europe. The pictures that I am waiting for, of it being in ZAZ museum, also date from that time period (1992-1995).

But to the point, SDC, or should I say PT82 :D could you find those pics you made at the dealership and post them again?

Anybody have any info on the yellow F1???

I have updated the list again, by adding the following two pictures. My source has gone through his archive and scanned his analogue pictures dating from 1996. It shows #018 in its original blue coat, as we have seen it in Peloton's image a while back.

As a bonus, he visited the museum again this summer, finding #053 as a normal part of the exhibition, an assumption we made after seeing the Rosso article.

If that is any car but chassis #018 I would be shocked.

I'm also beginning to believe that we might have photos of both of the white F1s here, not just chassis #053. In all the shots of Okamoto's white F1 the car wears a windshield banner. Unfortunately that's an easy item to remove if a new owner wanted to, but I'm still not convinced they are the same cars. If we could only get a shot of the interior in the Okamoto car, or maybe even some more recent photos from his collection to show that car still there, I think we could confirm that we've found #031 and that both white F1s are in Japan.

Edited my post. Yes indeed, it is #018, as we were assuming.

Interesting theory about #030 and #053. You never really know for sure. If only my source had photographed the description stand, it may have had the chassis no. on it.

anyone know where 019r is? is it still in japan, last i knew it was the yellow corn car? or have any info on thomas bscher's 1998 fia gt car the all black and red striped davidoff gtr, its impossble to find pictures of it, ive only found 2

#19R is here in the USA now and has been refitted with the LARK livery that it wore in 1997 at the 1000kms of Suzuka race. It may be owned by a gentleman named Kevin Crowder, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. Search this forum for Hudson Historics and you should find a good set of photos of it in it's present condition.

#19R was not the Yellow Corn car, though there were several references to that chassis number in the Hitotsuyama Racing literature and often the car was given that reference number in race listings. The Yellow Corn GTR turned out to be chassis #25R.

#19R raced alongside the Yellow Corn GTR in the JGTC series for several years under the Nicos and SOK liveries. You may be familiar with those. It stopped racing at the end of 2003 I believe, and was sent to the factory for its refit to the LARK livery before coming to the USA via Symbolic Motors.

The Team Davidoff liveried GTR was GTR #22R. It also raced under the Loctite livery at the 1998 LeMans race and spent some time in the GTR Euro Series in 1998. It is difficult to find photos of it in the Black/Red livery. In 1997 it was one of the Gulf/Davidoff GTRs. I don't think anyone really knows where that car ended up.

The info you offer on #16R is weel known by those of us here. In fact, one of the employees at Maranello Motorsport has made a few recent contributions to the discussion directly.

I don't believe this GTR ever carried EMI sponsorship though. That would be #24R which was owned and driven by Steve O'Rourke in the later part of it's career. We learned recently that Rowan Atkinson owns that GTR now and it wears its original FINA livery again.

as for the 016r reference, sorry im new to this forum as of today and obviously need to catch up on my recent mclaren f1 history, as i am a huge fan of these cars and their racing history, ive already spent hours reading these threads, lol

I think he might be specifically looking for the shots of this car when it was not wearing the Davidoff or Dayoff sponsorship. The car is almost completely black in those photos with only the red lines to set it off, and just a few remaining sponsor decals.

thats the car all right, it ran in the fia gt series in 1998. i watched all of the races on speed chaneel which was speedvision at that time, of course they condensed the races to a 1 hour showing instead of the full 3-4 hour enduro. it wore the davidoff sponsorship decals like in the first pic, great pics, thanks! oh yeah and that parabolica car in the photo album looks like 019r with the lark sponsorship removed and parabolica added. the lark 019r and the 1998 davidoff car are my 2 favorite liveries. :bigthumb: by the way anyone know the chassis #? should be the same as the loctite car for the 1998 24 hours of le mans

Is this the Team Davidoff liveried GTR that you are taking about i took this photo at Silverstone in May 1998 It was driven by Thomas Bscher and Geoff Lee.
