With lack of more information at this point on the two F1's we recently '(re-)discovered', here's some pics of 053 at the CG meeting. Very tiny, I know, but I just stumbled upon them by accident. Will start hunting for HQ ones.

Ok - I'm confused here... The windshield banner is back? :confused:
That looks more like the Shin Okamoto White F1 now. Hmmm... We will need to see the interior to be sure, but since it's raining their might not be any interior photos.
I wonder if #053 has been sold - I will try to find out.
If so, then this would have to be a second white F1, likely the Okamoto car and likely chassis #031.

Ok, this is definitely not the same white F1 that was in the ZAZ Museum, and is certainly the same car from the photos of Okamoto's collection. Note the FUBA-style antenna which I have highlighted. Then go back and look at the more recent photos from ZAZ and Rosso and you will find that there is no antenna on that car.

Hmm, bit confusing with the white McLaren. Erik, I don't think it really sounds plausible that CG would use a different F1 to promote the event. The only reason I can think of is that CG had it confirmed as participant for the meeting, but that because it's now for sale, ZAZ museum didn't want to give it out (or maybe the new owner didn't?). Then they could have made a deal with Okamoto to at least have a white F1 present, so that all their promotion material would not be wrong.
Now, to keep in line with the regular sharing of beauties, I have come across another beauty. We know this car, but we only had a very very low res picture of it. This one is unfortunately not too sharp, but it's of a more acceptabe size :)

Okay, so the moral of this story.....there's two white F1's (still) in Japan :cool: and I need to change my recap ASAP with all this new info :biggrin:

I am really enjoying this thread too. It's amazing what our eagle-eyed members can figure out. Unfortunately, I would make a lousy detective...to me all white F1s look identical--the way you guys keep track of the details is fantastic!

You might want to add my "probably's" to the list at the top of the main page:
Okamoto's white F1 is probably #031.
The Tag Heuer F1 is probably #012.
The yellow F1 from ELG is probably #060.
The Ueno-look road car is probably #043.
I see those things mentioned in the text below, but it couldn't hurt to have the included at the top as well. Up to you though, since it is your baby. :wink:

sauc3 went by a day or two ago and found the place was closed and that #16R was no longer visible through the windows. He's the one who took the last set of photos of it.
Here's some more pics by the way of the F1 at Bingo Sport that I came across. NIce interior shots of the red floor mats.

quite a set indeed, i love how the f1 out-shines them all though... :iceslolan it just commands your attention so much more, i maybe be biased though... but not likely, since we all know the f1 would get more attention than any other supercar when parked near eachother...

Anyway, as for the carpets ... sorry ... that smacks of the domain of 'chavs' - roughly translated as English pubescent wannabe kids, driving cars with less horsepower than your average lawnmower, but festooned with more add-ons than your common-or-garden porn queen!
REALLY NOT a tasteful F1 addition IMO!

You can see the black border of the floor mats reflecting light. The furthest floor mat (right passenger) is clearly a mat and not actual carpet. You can tell because it's lying on top of the real carpet with quite a gap.

^Thanks for the pic bucciali! I think green definitely looks great on the F1. It doesn't appear to be the same as British Racing Green, but close in that shot. Looks good on it.

Do you have a date of this show in Japan. The car has had 5 owners before Meissner (who obviously no longer has it) and i'm trying to work out if it went new to Japan or not.

Chris - these pics are obviously taken quite recently given some of the other cars in the shots. Meissner had this car since 2001, so there's no doubt in my mind that the car made its way from KS Autohandel in Germany to a new owner in Japan.

I also suspect that the show was helt very recently, since the photos surfaced at several places at the same time. The other cars in the show also point in this direction (the MC12 coz it's new and the EB110SS that recently came on the market there/into the country as shown on T2M.jp). But let me check my records, I can't remember a date right now.

I contacted the seller and they replied that is still is in Japan and will stay there until its sold.
So maybe the white F1 will come to Europe! If so I must know where!

No... it says that the person to contact on that ad is in Chicago. It's likely just a broker trying to get in on the action. :screwy:
I've heard that #014 may already be sold. Not a huge surprise as it seems there are more F1 buyers now then there are cars available.

I now strongly believe the car for sale in Japan is 070. The colour is too light to be Magnesium Silver, which only leaves 070 which is M.B.S

I think the previous Bingo Sport ad clearly ID'd that car as a 1994 F1 which rules out #070. :dunno:
