I bought her from my uncle for $500. My understanding, since it was in the garage for 8-10 years, is that it needed a tune up, brakes, fuel lines, etc. So I go there once or twice a week and start doing all of this. I freed up the wheels (they were frozen from the brakes) ran some brake line and fuel line. While my dad is there, I start to scrape some of the rust proofing off, and notice a whole the size of a 3 feet sub in the rear frame rail. My heart dropped into my stomach. We finished up the brake lines, and noticed that making flares on the lines, by hand, without a vise, in the driveway isnt the best way to do it, because it leaked. So we focused on the eninge. I honestly didnt expect it to start up, so what I did prior to starting on the brakes was give her a tune up, plugs, wires. We poors some gas into the carb, and she fired right up. Holy crap and she ran like a champ. That 350 was VERY strong, and that brought a smile to my face. We its been, probably, almost a year since I've touched her (mostly winters fault) but I definitaly want to go back over there and finish what I've started, as much as I can, until we build the new house. My dad plans on buying another lift, so I can use that to fix the frame piece.
Thats her story :D

Mods to the orange WS.6??
Tell me it has the power to back up the looks!!
Its actually a "WS.7". Its not a true Ram Air car. I added the hood and lower airbox. As far as mods go, nothing real major. Typical stuff. Lid, descreened MAF, free mods, 2800 stall and lowering springs. Best times are (1/8) 8.38@86 cutting a 1.87 60 ft. OK times I guess. Typical for the upgrades done to the car and mileage. The car has 110K on it.

nope, no front plates. i dont think you have to have them do you? the paint is just garage kept. there are a few spots on the nose where the clear coat is getting those spider web looking cracks in it. :( i hope that doesnt spread too much.

I wish my front bumper looked like that right now. I need to get her repainted but will in a couple of weeks.

The paint all started peeling, I am sure it had alot to do with the bra I left on it. I hear they build up moisture and ruin the paint but left it on anyway. Its all good though cause I bought a ram air cowl hood and they are going to repaint the front bumper at the same time.

Havne't been to the track yet. I just bought 3.73 gears, subframes, Lower control arms, drag springs, shocks and 17x10's for the rear. When I get everything in, I'll find out.

Heres an 89' Formula I rebuilt back in 95. Its only a 305 automatic but it one sweet ride. It was a salvage title when I bought it for $1500. I still hav this car stashed away for my son(s)(when they are old enough). It only has 72K miles original. I've only put 2k miles on it in 10 years.

Yes that is my 76' 442 olds Cutlas(455) in the back ground and a 86' Grand Am of my wifes. Still hav the cancer riden Cutlas along with 3 others I'm gonna restore, as soon as some of my other projest get finished. I figure with 4 cars i should be able two hav 2 perfect cars when finished.

thankx FormulaLT1 . It wasnt much work, new front suspension and a new front bumper. Some paint and good as new. I actually hav 3 sons and 3 daughters, so theres going to be some arguments on who gets what either way. LOL! But I've got them cover'd, I hope. :)
I just remember my father talked about all the cars he used to have and, and how he wished he'd kept some of them and didnt or couldnt. I just get lucky sometimes and a great deal rolls along and I take it.

looking at all these great Firebirds got me thinking, I need another one! Been looking at the 98-02's, they are a bit pricie. Esspecially when I am pickie as hell. Like it must be a 350 WS6 w/Ram Air Hood in either Autp or manual, and that hasnt been raced on weekends or some shit like that. Also under $12K. I had seen some earlier this summer for around $10k but it had 120k miles and was red. Reds just not my colour, it stands out to much, as I stand out enough without a brite colour'd car.
