If you have any tutorials please submit them. I will be creating a tutorial depository once we have enough tutorials out there.
If you would like to post a tutorial, please start a new thread and Label it "HOW TO: ???" the question marks are what your tutorial is about.
If you have tips. Feel free to post them here. Suggestions, or stuff that should be posted in the FAQ for this forum, post them here. I will start writing a tutorial today, and it may be a long process.
Thank you.

How to Install Dub Rims on almost anything.
So you want to install Dub City Replacement rims onto a Maisto Vehicle (or any similar type). If you have a Dub Vehicle and just want to switch the rims, check elsewhere. The car shown in the example pics are Maisto so this guide is probably best applicable to them but you can use these techniques on almost any brand.
http://img32.photobucket.com/albums/v97/Gafoto/Tutorial/PDRM0001.jpg
An example of the effect that can be achieved. The ability to steer makes for impressive photos.
The first thing you need to do is remove the old wheels and wheel assemblies. For Maisto this means the wheels, assemblies, and springs from front and back.
http://img32.photobucket.com/albums/v97/Gafoto/Tutorial/PDRM0003.jpg
REAR WHEELS: Installing the rear wheels is simple for any car. Drill a hole just large enough for the axle at an appropriate height through the chassis, insert the axle and twist the wheels on. I find it helpful to put springs between the Dub wheels and the chassis to keep the wheels from drifting left and right since they're on a loose axle.
http://img32.photobucket.com/albums/v97/Gafoto/Tutorial/PDRM0002.jpg
Heres a sample of the rear axle placed in a Maisto wheel assembly. Make sure to use a drill bit just barely bigger than the axle
I consistently have problems getting the rear wheels level. Since the holes drilled are fairly permanent (could be filled in) I make sure to start by drilling the first hole a little bit low in the chassis. By doing this I make sure I can still enlarge the hole to bring the car lower.
FRONT WHEELS 1: Repeat the above process for the front wheels.
FRONT WHEELS 2: By exchanging the interface between rims and assembly from the Maisto wheels you can simply attach the Dub wheels onto the original assemblies. This sounds ideal but you'll need to cut apart the original rims as well as part of the new rims and then do some gluing. This may not work for all projects but produces a near perfect fit and lets you retain the suspension abilities (if it had suspension)
http://img32.photobucket.com/albums/v97/Gafoto/Tutorial/PDRM0005.jpg
Here you can see the marriage to two wheel types. The Dub interface has been chopped off and a Maisto connector has been glued on (the black part).
FRONT WHEELS 3: This is more complicated still but produces good results. As of right now I'm the only person I know to have tried this. Get some flat space on your chassis. You may need to cut off some pillars or extra plastic to do this. Once you have, drill a small pilot hole and screw in an eyebolt (see pic). The eyebolt is threaded and thus can steer. Make sure to choose an eyebolt that isn't over-sized or too small, it has to fit the wheel.
http://img32.photobucket.com/albums/v97/Gafoto/Tutorial/PDRM0004.jpg
Next you'll need a screw, a washer and probably a spring for each wheel. The screw will go into the wheels to prevent it from rolling right out from under you car. The washer (or hex nut) serves the function of stabilizing the wheel and preventing severe camber from appearing. The spring, if needed, keeps the wheels from sliding into the chassis. You may need to double up on washers or springs to achieve the desired effect, this process is gonna be based on the car and the wheels. It may take some time to adjust all the parts correctly but this flexibility allows for some nice customization of your diecasts stance.

JCZ just posted one ;). I'm sure somebody would like to put together a tutorial on hinges.... I think we're covered in the painting department because of you and the modeling people who have already done tutorials. Tell me if you want a tutorial done, I'll get right on it.

Yes being that I am a modeler and auto painter, I'll cover a painting tutorial soon. I need to check if I have any paint left to paint a crappy model with to make a tutorial. Probably paint my F50.
Ill try to make a tutorial on hinges too.

It doesnt matter if you dont know what they want to see. Make up a tutorial on something that you know how to do, and that is not already done up.

I would like a tutorial on how to make some roll cages, i have made them out of plastic before (from the long bars that make the square around the parts from a plastic model), but i want to experiment more with working with metals. a tut would be great if someone could make one :D

Hi guys!
As u can see i'm new. I live in Poland but i'm also an american though i wasn't there for 7yrs now so forgive me my language.
I just wanted to ask if u want a flamer kit tut. I made such thing in my 1 model and have a upgraded version in a bmw. Yes- ill start writing in a sec Hi again 'n' bye.
it looks like this
http://img353.imageshack.us/img353/3196/dscn05177jy.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
Flamer kit
1.Stuff you need:
foto1 instead of needles use the valves
http://tuning18.c1.la/Flamer/ryc1.jpg
-A lighter with the ability of filling
-PCV hose slightly smaller than the lighters ?valve? the part where gas comes out 40/50cm
-PCV hose thick enough to fit in 2 smaller hoses tightly if making more than 1 flamed tip
-Silicone or glue to seal joints
-Old valves from lighters in the number of exhaust tips
-Stainless steel pipe for the muffler tip
-Lighter gas
2. Tuning your lighter:
http://img122.imageshack.us/img122/1839/lighter4ax.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
For 1 tip just regulate the gas flow with the ?knob? just a lil bit
For 2 tips the same as above but more
For 4 it gets harder. First get rid of the gas inside the lighter. Then unscrew the valve (RED pointer) take out the little thing (blue pointer) screw the valve back in really tight cause itll make a big flame now. Fill the lighter with lighter gas.
3. Now reel stuff starts
Take the old valve and insert it in the thin PCV hose (it can’t be loose must be tight thats how you see how thick hose you need). Insert the end of the hose with the valve in the steel tip the other side of the hose on the valve of the lighter. Let the gas flow light the gas on the other side with a lighter get me??
4. 2 or 4 tips
U will need to put 2 thin hoses in the 1 thick hose on 1 side and 1 thin on the other.
Seal the joints with silicone (not any amount of gas should get out of there)
I think You catch my drift??
hope so.

During the production of the flamer kit you must be very cautious. I do not response for anything that happens to you while making the flamer kit. This tutorial is only for experienced people who know what they are doing and use their imagination while building. If u dont understand any of the parts of the tutorial dont try to make it.

u need:
-leds
-thin cable
-batteries
-switch
optionally:
-resistors (theyll keep the batteries from short circuiting)
EDIT: solder the resistors to the + leg of the led. I dont use them so the choice is yours
the leds u bought probably work on 3V if not ure gonna have a problem with power supplies (u wont be ably to hide the batteries in the car)
wire 2 bat up like this ------- -(_____)+ ----- -(_____)+ ------- take the led and check in wich position it glows probably the longer leg is +
for headlights take 2 leds solder cables 2 them. take for example the - right 2 the battery and the + thru the switch 2 the battery Do that outside of the car but make shure the cables are long enough to hide in the car. If everything works hide the batteries in the the car and put the leds behind the headlights (after drilling holes in the die cast)
I hope u understand

Mike,
Somewhere else you made mention of casting some wheels and tires for a 1/64 Daytona Concept. Are you doing this? That would make a great tutorial.
