How To Paint Brake Calipers (Jada)
this is a great way to customize your ride
materials needed -diecast model (made by Jada Toys) -screwdriver -hobby knife (any knife will work) -paint wanted to be on the calipers -paintbrush ![]() remove the screws and seperate the chasis from everything else ![]() remove the wheels and axles ![]() on the inside of the the calipers there are 2 melted plastic pieces, take your knife and cut off the melted plastic the whole in the red circle is where the axle goes through, the 2 purple circles circle the area where you will find the melted plastic to be cut off ![]() remove the calipers (they should come out very easy, if they dont fall off when the melted plastic is cut off) ![]() paint the caliper the color desired (the red part for those who dont know what calipers are). after the caliper is painted, i found out that if you hang the calipers on the axle that is between the 2 wheels, it makes a great stand for the paint to dry ![]() after the paint dries place the calipers back in their holes, place the rims and axles back, put the diecast back together, put the screws back in and enjoy!!!! BEFORE ![]() AFTER
