We never managed to put together an official board build of the Skylines, so I just want a show of hands for everyone that's got a WRX of some sort on the workbench. Please list what kit it is, and what you have planned for it, if anything... If you already have one done, just post a pic or two...
![]() I actually have two: :flash: Hasegawa WRX Wagon: Green/Tan 2-tone paint, a little bit lowered w/ 18" wheels. Tamiya New WRX STi: Black w/ black & grey interior, de-STi'd, w/ 17" BBS-esque wheels. What are yours? :sun: |

I have two STi's, one to build pretty much OOB, the other I got to make a wagon using the old Hasegawa body. Trouble is that I compared the two last evening and the Hasegawa roof is much narrower. That's not going to be an easy conversion, so I may scrap that idea entirely. Wonder if it'll fit the Tamiya WRC body better...hmmm, a Tuner wagon? If not maybe I'll throw the Tamiya rims on the Hasegawa wagon, lower it and call it a day. Then I'll do some sort of Tuner-ized STi, and do my Tamiya Impreza rally car like I did my Focus. I also have a Fujimi Version IV, dunno what I'll do w/that yet. I have a couple of Legacy wagons, one I've made into an Outback, need to build it though. Just not too excited about that one ;^)

I have built a stock STi and starting a stock WRX. Plan to do a tuner of the latest STi rally body, grafting in headlights from an IS300 Lexus.

Got a 99 Subaru WRC Impreza finished, got a '98 WRC Safari Impreza and a 2001 WRC Great Britain edition in the closet, and a Fujimi WRX Impreza Ver V on the bench which I am going to make as a replica of my own car.

My WRX...
Mine is the HKS Tokyo Service Version 4; It's Indy Silver with 17" BBS Gunmetal-colored rims; lowered slightly in the front and some minor alteration to the front spoiler; 90% completed.

![]() FYI, since I don't have pics of mine yet, I stole the BBS-esque 8-tuning-fork-spoke wheels from the Rev.ITR kit and painted them gun metal w/ chrome lip. They look like a nickel to your dollar!!! ![]() ![]() Last edited by Jay!; 09-11-2002 at 10:39 PM. |
