R35 GT-R from Aoshima in July

I don't think anyone has noticed this yet. Or maybe I was asleep?

Also some new 20" wheels.

Scroll down a ways.

Best Car GT #28 & #29 (premium edition). Both 2800 yen.

Nice catch Bob! I was asleep at the wheel too. I look forward to pre-ordering.
I was wondering when they would issue out some wheels. It's been awhile.
I definitely did not think they would be the first with a new GT-R though.

FINALLY. hopefully it will be both RHD and LHD.

I'm just waiting for someone to do an 08 Subaru STi and the 09 Corvette ZR1 (I'd be shocked if Revell doesn't do this one) and I'd be happy.

Its about time, i was hoping tamiya or fujimi would give it a shot, as the aoshima will be probably not detailed at all. Must have to wait and see

PLEASE AOSHIMA

Great news. Let's hope that Tamiya will think about the JGTC version

5 years ago, news of a kit of an all-new GT-R would have had this forum on fire.

Times sure have changed.

I'm definitely excited about this, can't wait ! But I wonder if and when Tamiya will produce their version (as well as JGTC). Would it be worth it more to wait for Tamiya to release it or just get Aoshima first, do you think?

Perhaps there is significant "wait and see if Tamiya will it" sentiment. What's sad is that Tamiya doesn't have a full-detail kit of this car out yet, or perhaps at all. This is a significant milestone car, it deserves to be kitted and full-detail. I'm sure the Aoshima kit will be a nice curbside. If Tamiya does the JGTC version it most likely will be curbside. Will be interesting to see how this car develops, and how many models it spurs, considering the incredible overlap of R34's that were on the market.

Re: R35 GT-R from Aoshima in July

if this did come out a couple of years ago, it would've been super high on my wish list. As it is, I seem to have moved onto building the older classic cars that are available. I would still like one of these; it's just not that much of an urgent buy as it would've been.

This would probably take my aoshima cherry.

I for one have become a believe it when I see it guy. Revell of Germany has a ton of great cars that I can't wait to build, but they keep getting pushed back. I hope someone does more JGTC. Those things are a trip.
