2005 Corvette C6

Decided to finally finish up some of these half finished models I had. More like took behind the shed and put out of their misery... It always seems that the gremlins creep in right about final assembly time. I'm not happy with how it turned out, but I don't think there is such a thing as a perfect model. Not out of this shop anyway!

With the photography getting better on this site, I tried to step up my game with a new setup. I think the results are a little blah, but with some fine tuning better results are possible. To me the WB looks a little off.

Comments welcome (about the model and photography setup).

Re: 2005 Corvette C6

That is sweet! If that's a white background, then yeh, the WB is off I think. Still looks great though.

Re: 2005 Corvette C6

Looks good the paint looks nice and smooth. The wheels and brakes look great as well. My only criticism is that the hi mount stop lamp should be painted body colour and the small middle part is left red. But thats minor detail. Keep up the good work!

I thought about painting it black, but it blocks out so much light you can't see the red.

Thanks for the comments!

Missed some of the lights, but everything else is beautiful.

They're "smoked"...

Re: 2005 Corvette C6

That looks great. The paint job is fantastic...Great shine you achieved. I also like the rear lights - making them smoked adds some style for sure.
