Faq thread suggestions.

If any of you have or know of a faq thread that needs to be added to the blazer faq and how to section just post it up here and I will get it added to the new thread.

Please post a link to it and I would prefer that it does not link to another website. But if it is a really good faq or how to and it links to another website I will consider putting it up anyway.

Anyone else having this problem? I'd like to know if so, I'd try a different host.

The pics are working for me. If you have a problem with pics loading, usually clicking reload will work. The forum has had a problem loading some off site pics lately.

Re: Faq thread suggestions.

Most of this stuff also applies to S10's, so could you possibly paste a copy in there as well.

Thanks.

and thanks Brian

We need a technical 4x4 explanation. My guess is that the encoder motor moves a shift mechanism, which trips the vac switch to send vacuum to actator which then pulls cable to engage front axle. I'd appreciate if someone can do a write up on this. What voltages should you see at the encoder motor? how to test the encoder motor? what sensors are there to sense if it is in 2wd or 4wd. Is there a sensor to confirm front axle engagement? How to troubleshoot front hub engagement.
