Re: Finnaly done w/ my paint job

Looks good! I probably would have went with different colors. The paint job cost guess-timate I would give you is between $300-500 bucks!? But I really don't know anything about paint jobs. I do know that my black 97 SEBRING is starting to need one coming down with those nasty white faded spotted areas.

Peace!

Well, you're right about the second sentence at least. Going rate for a professional cut/polish of the clear coat after it's done would be about $300-$500. To buy that paint job you'd pay maybe $3000, give or take depending on a million things.

WOW! I'm impressed. Did you have a booth or did you just throw a makeshift booth together?

we did the base and fire outside no problem but for the clear we made a makeshift booth, we bought a 300$ canopy tent that closes off entirely and cleared in there. all the paint and clearing took maybe a day but the clear sucked ass we used a crappy hvlp gravity gun and it dripped everywhere so took like 5 days to sand 4hrs a night taking our time. end of the year we will be starting a buisness i hope starting the garage right now.
