a couple of question
as far as now i know p10 and p11 are the body names for the primeras/g20s, but which is which? and another question, is the primera/g20 engine the same as the sentra sr20de engine? if so, engine parts, as intake, headers, etc. can be shared betweeen both car?
sorry for the questions, seems like the only thing i've been doing around here is asking, is just that im at these cars

Yes, the motor is the same, for the most part... Close enough to where most everything swaps over, but it depends on teh model year of the car too. Check out SE-R.net this site kicks ass and has a TON of good info... if the archives are back up they can answer almost all of your questions as well. Tons of good info. hope this helps.

The Primera/G20 that was offered from '91-'96 is the P10 body. The P11 body is the new body style found in the U.S. from '99 to present. Overseas, the P11 started in '97 and extends to the present time.

We've got the P12's here in the UK too. I guess they must be P12's cuz they are the new Primera shape.
Some of us are disapointed however that they are not producing a Primera GT. The new car is not as fast as the old GT - about a second down on the 0-60 figures for what thats worth. I guess it has less BHP and more weight or higher gearing. Still a nice car though. I guess one day they might build a variable valve version. Did you know these cars are actually built here in the UK at Sunderland. |

I guess I jumped the gun a bit there. The P12's are quite different then. Is the engine different too?
