Me Vs. Fiero GT, Corolla S, and Civic Si.

Last night was rather interesting. Some friends and I decided to meet up and watch some movies. On the way to pick up one of my friends the Fiero GT pulls up on my tail. I am going 45 in a 25, so I motion for him to pass. So he pulls out to pass and then sits right next to me revving his engine. I look at him and laugh that he even trying to waster my time. He gets pissed and takes off. Now I am not about to be beaten by a Fiero. So I drop to second and fly by him, mind you he still had it floored. It was quite fun as the road was very curvy, I had him out power and out handled by far. As I parked at my friends house and let the turbo cool a little, as I get out of the car he fly’s by and gives me the finger. After telling my friends this story we decided to have a race between me, the Corolla S, and my other friends Civic Si trough the same stretch. We all line up on the street and on the count of three we go. I took both the Corolla S and Civic Si off the line without a problem, I had at least six car lengths before we hit the first turn. The Civic Si had left the Corolla S in the dust. Before the race my friend that drove the Civic said that I might beat him off the line but he thought his car could handle better. So we hit the first turn and I take it without a problem, the Civic Si lost traction in the back end and started to slide but he held it and went on, the Corolla S nearly slid into a mail box. I was taking most of the turns at about 60+ no problem. It was so much fun. Me and the Civic Si had the Corolla S out powered and handled hands down. I had them both out powered and out handled as well. Man that was a kick.

Man, you and that Fiero...Its starting to become a legend now...all you have to say now is "the fiero" and we know what you mean. I think thats funny stuff...but that souned pretty cool, although dangerous. a mailbox? nice...good race though

Yeah, most of my races have been straight line. It's a good thing that there is nothing on this road, like someone had street racing in mind when they paved it.

My friend in the Corolla should have know better than taking that turn as fast as he did. At least the mail box was brick, it would have taught him a lesson.

Question Polygon!

Quote:
1989 Chrysler LeBaron GTC. 2.2L I4. Garrett T03 Stage 2 turbo intercooled. 14PSI. 205HP, 225 ft/lbs of torque. K&N Filter, Cold air induction, Bosch platinum plugs, Centerforce dual friction clutch. Heavy mods after the turbo dies and is replaced.
would you ever think of getting a different car or is this your baby?

Well she is my baby for now. The nice thing is it gets good gas mileage yet I can still have fun. But I do plan on having a good sized car collection one day with cars from all over the world.

thats an idea a car collection i think i'd have mostly japanese if i did that apart from a 1998 TVR Cerbera 4.5 - those are nice and still manage to be faster than any american V8 which i still can't believe and the aston marting Vantage no the older one the V8 supercharged Vantage

I own a fiero gt 4 spd and I will be the first to say that in STOCK form they are awesome off the line but kinda wind down in the higher rpms. The 5 spd gt is much better and quicker. Now with nitrous or boost the fiero is an excellent car for racing. The torque on those fuckers is nice but the hp makes it drag ass. It puts like 115-125 to the wheels with 140-150 tq.

I guess it's always a good "kill" when you have boost and/or NOS but the other person doesn't

Good kills, sounds pretty sketchy with all that sliding and almost hitting mailboxes and stuff though...for the corolla and civic.
