Help with 88 supra ~ Automatic to Manual swap procedures?
Hello, I am new to this forum. I just bought a 88' supro turbo automatic. I want to swap to manual transmission. Can anyone provide detail of information step by step to do the swap, and what additional parts do I need to complete the swap. Will appreciate your helps.. Thanks~

Welcome to the forums, I'll help you out on this one, but being new is no excuse for not searching and doing your own research.

Everything is completely bolt-in, but if you get stuck on something just post it up here (I doubt you will once you get into the swap). ![]() Last edited by projectsupramk3; 03-13-2004 at 11:50 AM. |

classicElk being new is no excuse for being so lame...
Please, when you've been here as long as I have, and answered as many questions as I have, and have seen the exact same question/post three times in a row just because somebody couldn't use the search button then you will understand. I'm no being rude at all, I did the searching for him, I linked the correct and relevant posts, I even gave some extra hints. I'm not here to be at your every whim, I'm here because I like to help Supra owners, and if you help yourself I will gladly help you. ![]()

Re: Help with 88 supra ~ Automatic to Manual swap procedures?
i have a quick question, i know everyone is saying that it is simple to do the swaps in MKIII that it is all bolt-on is this identical to how a swap in a MKIV would go? Would the transmission switch be just bolt-on?
