ARTA NSX 2005 - Tamiya - 1/24

Finito!!! :-)
I am happy that this build is done. It was long and full of ups and downs with lots of new experiences.
This is WIP for those who missed it and want to see it: WIP: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul....php?t=1053906

I am really satisfied with:
1) Being consistent in modifications - I think I have modified all of the important things missed by Tamiya
2) Interior - came out good with no major mistakes
3) Decals - no major mistakes for box and my decals
4) Wheel - clean and life like
Not satisfied with:
1) Clear coating
2) Opaqueness (evenness) of the color.

Used in build: PE Tamiya Set, Sakatsu antenna, air valves TMM, PE nuts Hobby Design & Scale Racer Cars, switches Hobby Design, carbon decals: SMS, Modelers i S27,
Modifications:
1) Interior dash with switches, seat belts, scratch built floor with electronics, cabling, carbon decals
2) Body: Rear wing uprights, thinned aero parts, PE nuts
3) Other: new exhaust, air valve
Painting: Tamiya TS26, TS-36, clearcoat 2K (Dupont Duxone), Alclads, window: Tamiya X-18, doors Tamiya + Gaia /dullblack/

Well, it looks excellent. All the work you've put into it has paid off, well done.

Excellent work, but (for me) in this masterwork you have to put PE for the wipers.

That looks AMAZING!!! All your hardwork (& heartache) has really paid off!! The interior is stunning, esp the text beneath the switchs! Wow!

I followed along on this very well done and informative wip and enjoyed it all the way. The results speak for themselves from the intricate interior to the carbon work. A great model you have produced here. Well done.

Absolutely beautiful!!! That's as close to perfect as I could imagine that kit being built.

I have enjoyed your WIP of this one.

I know about the trouble at the final stage.... But the result is so perfect. Incredible recovery.
