Okay, so the Tv man & I are going for it bigtime...
1981 DeLorean DMC12: 2.8l V6, 130HP VERSUS 1993 Ford T-Bird: 5.0l V8, 300HP Tell me how we should go for it & who you think will win! Ford all the way...
By the way, I can belive 130hp for the SS boat but I am not sure about 300hp for the thunderchicken! These are both heavy cars, I think the thunderbird weighs in at about 3500lbs!
I still think it will have enough to pull this one out.

I dont know if it is 4200 pounds, but thats what the lil metal plate on the inside of the door, which is required by manufactures as so says the law
And it is more around 235hp, not 300...yet :bandit:

unless theres long streaches where I can use my 235hp + 3.08 gears and get so ahead I can take my time :bandit: oh, and some of us can actually drive our cars well, even if they dont have a lotus suspension

hahaha, but what of your other delorian, you still have had more time with -delorians- I am used to the Mustang, and Trans Am, neather of which weighed near this, or handled like it, but as I said, I'm ready and waiting!
