Thumbs up In progress- Fujimi Altezza update!

Here is my newest model, a Fujimi Altezza or Lexus for the US crowd. It has new 19in rims from Fujimi. Wing is from the AoshimaGT wing set. I am planning on painting it in Pearl White from HOK. Havent figured out yet if Im going to open the front grill and add mesh or just paint it black. Also not yet sure what color to paint the wing. Interior will be gray or black.
I dont have any paint right now so it might be slow going...

I'd do the wing in CF with Al end plates.

Still doing the custom HW thing ?

sugarcaddy, definitely open up the front end, if you can handle it. if you can't i wouldn't waste the time, but if you can, by all means, do it. remember, as you already know, it's the little details. keep going, this looks good.

Scott,
Your old sig pix was a VW Drag bus that I'd seen over on HWC customs.
I'm 'Dnewish2' over there.

I forgot that my old sig was a Drag Bus! LOL
I don't ever remmember posting a picture of it over at HWC because I dont ever post pictures over there.

Oh and there is some progress on the Altezza-I have opened up the front grill on the bottom and primed it rerady to paint. I resieved my paint in the mail today so I should be able to paint it this weekend.

Sorry I didnt have my macro on for the picture

I drilled out the bottom area but how in the heck do you drill out the top? If I drill that out, then I can not put the base in because the part that holds the base on will be destroyed by drilling out that area...
Any sugestions on what to do here? Would just painting the grill part black be ok?

Scott

here is a suggestion for u, i sometimes do this to. You can heat up a hobby knife then cut right through it, it works good but i usually dont cut it exactly because i might mess it up so i go out some more and then just sand it cuz i dont really mind sanding.

Talking more up dates

The interior is done! I painted it black with metallic grey highlights. I also added grey flocking to make the carpet. I also detailed the dash. Hopefully I will be finishing the paint on the body soon!
