[Eye Of Apocalypse]

This is a thread started for those who despise this film The Fast And The Furious, though I do agree much of this flick is unrealistic, but I don't hate it.

So those who do, have at it, bash it, whatever.

Who's to say they are ruined? There are those people who would give their left and right nut for the way they are now. The RX-7, the Supra, the Eclipse, and the S200 are sweet looking cars, not to mention the Supra has some real power behind it.

its simply not believable - quarter mile scenes that last 1 or 2 minutes? (How can they talk about ten second cars when in the previou scene they were racing from like 2 minutes?).

And the computer effects look really brutal in the new movies - every major scene(from commerical anyways) looks computer generated.

I hate the whole fast 'n furious culture.

i agree with 'naki. while i thoroughly despise the films and ESPECIALLY what the bastards have done, runing so many beautiful cars, but in the long run, it's a damn movie so who cares?

AirAllen - yes, alot of people would give their nuts for those cars. those people are called "moronic brainless ricers". whether you're included in that crowd or not, i don't know.

Let me see- they race RX7's, Supras, S2000's and Evo's against mad tyte Civics, Jettas and Eclipses, they talk about SR20's in Honduhs, they have an Eclipse with 7 forward ratios, they have some of hollywoods worst actors, they have now employed the idols of all the wiggas in this world, the story line was weak as shit, the soundtrack is incredibly gay- anything else???

I hate TFATF. I am also EXTREMELY disappointed about the soon to be out sequel. The only thing this fucking movie is going to do is encourage teenagers to do gay things to their cars. Kids who can't even tell a header from a fucking wheel are going to go see it this friday night and say "I have a Honda, and I'm gonna do that to my car!" thinking they are hot shit and what not. Well the truth is they are all like the rest of them. I was into imports about 4 years before the realease of the first film (and have the magazines and dates to prove it). Whenever I meet someone who says "yeah I'm into imports" I just think to myslef... they saw the fast and furious and fell in love.

These movies don't even really portray what an import should really be. In fact, many of the cars in the movie are rockin' ineffective hunks of plastic and some "hot" shit from APC . Its all bullshit and its downgrading what an import should be. I mean who the fuck do they think they are putting a fucking APC sticker on a Skyline? A fucking Skyline...thats right. That cars like a god in Japan... and these stupid shit movie makers think they are so damn cool. (You just know that fucker Craig was behind all of that nonsense).

Friday night I am probably going to go see this movie. And when I roll up I know I am going to see the whole lot filled with Civics with clear tailights and ugly body-kits. And maybe I'll even see some Supras or 240SX...but I am sure they will be sporting some gay ass graphics and...you guessed it...all the APC decals they could find. It really hurts me to see the abuse that the import scene in america takes. It is not what it should be and all this god-awful movie is doing is bringing it down more and more. What the fuck are all of us americans about anyway? We say we like imports, but we equip our fucking cars with American made body kits. Fuck that. That defeats the purpose of an import. Do we see suped up civics with altezzas and show body kits in Japan? No. And we shouldn't see them here. As the 2 Fast 2 Furious Nazi I leave you with the above to think about. I hope the few of you who know the true meaning of an import have fun watching a great comedy thats due out this Friday .

but I really wouldn't mind owning some stocks in F&F and APC.

The other thing that I can't do is convince other people about how all of the cars in the fast and the furious series are cars that are not meant to be riced out, but in the movie they are. This subject bothers me every single day of my life, but I usually just keep quiet about it and doze off into these thinking sprees.

Anyway, to get to my point, when I was talking to a friend today, we started to converce about 2 Fast 2 Furious. I told him that I hate all of the cars in the movie and they are riced out cars. He replied back by saying that they are nice and I shot back by explainijng the whole abuse of the Import industry in North America. He then said that every car in the movie(s) will be nicer than any car I will ever have. He then said that I would think my car is nicer. In reality, when I build my car, every fucking part that goes on that car will be performance, and JDM. So in a sense, it is much nicer than any of those cars in the movie sporting their american crap. Thats what all of the people in the US feel about the real import industry...ugly.

sorry man...but that term is just getting thrown around way too much these days, by all the wrong people...i saw this guy on onlineshowoff.com who claimed his Civic was "JDM y0!", yet it had Altezza's and a Black Widow body kit. the only thing "JDM" on it was the amber turn signals. i was like "WTF? STFU, asswipe."

I can't wait for the movie!! Im gonna bring rexxie and im gonna blow away half of those civics on the way out. The ones that beat me will prolly spray a 200 shot of NAWZZZZ! and blow their engines. Then i'll pull over behind them, get out of my car, and laugh at them. I just wish i had free flowing exhaust and intake to free up a bit more power. Damn restrictive stock stuff. Oh well.
