Haters of TFATF part II: The Aftermath...

I just saw this movie the other night and now I am going to evaluate it. If you loved 2 Fast 2 Furious, then do not read on. If you wish the movie should burn in hell please continue reading.

First of all, on a scale of 1 - 10 I give the movie a 1 1/2...and thats being nice. The movie sucked. It was the worst piece of shit to be shown on a movie screen. I want to start off by talking about the realism. That was a fucking joke. The cars were gay, ugly, and a disgrace to all NICE imports. Seeing the little S2k throw 12 foot flames out its ass made me laugh. I also found it funny when the cars started to drift around the corners. Thats right...front wheel drive cars can drift . Think again. How about when the Skyline jumped off the bridge? Why was it the only fucking car undamaged? I was disappointed that it didn't get fucked up like the other cars from the impact. It really needs to be put out of its misery. That APC decal must hurt it's beautiful lines. But later in the movie I was a little more relieved when it got shutdown by the cops and crashed into a parking meter. Rest in piece Skyline. Now how about when that Lancer? Its wicked nice right? Wrong. I am sorry, but that was probably the ugliest POS in the movie. And that Eclipse? Gay. I mean its purple for god sakes. Both of those cars also rocked some sick exhaust tips. Wow...I never knew exhaust tips could be that loud. I also never knew Lancers could do 75 in reverse. That was all bullshit. The other thing that made this movie suck was when the Camaro jumped 400 feet onto a movie boat in the water. How...I have no idea. It must have been along the lines of when XXX jumped over that 15 foot fence with a dirtbike with absolutely no jump. Once again...bullshit. Now lets talk about the acting. Paul Walker is a great actor. Yeah...and I own Enzo. All of the actors aren't even actors. They suck. Now the last thing I would like to complain about is the audience this movie attracted. After walking accross the street from McDonalds, my friends and I were greeted by the theatre parking lot. Fully equipped with some of the gayest cars I have ever seen. Most of them had APC tailights, and a Huge muffler. Thats all...nothing else. Then we walked on. As I looked accros the parking lot I saw what looked like a half decent 240SX hatch. When we got closer, I saw the horror. It had some cool "Super R" seat covers and some even cooler dual muffler tips. I felt like smashing it. I hate this movie, and I hope all of you go see it as a comedy. Have fun.

I could have gone to see that movie today, but instead I opted to go to a car show where I work, and my cousin entered his 1979 Z28 camaro. There were a bunch of awesome cars there, but somehow, dumbass car owners found their way in. This one dude entered his 2002 STOCK gmc sonoma that had altezza tail-lights and a damn fire extinguisher on the center console... must be because he's a big flamer. Anyways, the dude that got best in show owns a 95 Impala SS that is BAD AS HELL. only words I can think of to describe it. so yeah. I had my chance, guess Ill have to wait to see the shitbrick... er... movie when it comes out on video.

Another 2F2F thread? I don't hate the movie (though I won't go and see it), I just hate all the threads about it.

Man, GET OVER IT... this movie was'nt made for racers, it was made for everyday people. If the Skyline did'nt jump the bridge, the movie would'nt be as entertaining. Movies HAVE to be fake to be fun (most of the time) About FWD cars drifting... none of the cars in the begining race scne were FWD, they were all RWD, even the Skyline they used.
The movie makers care more about entertaining 100 non-racers than 10 racers so this movie was'nt aimed towards the racer crowd, so get over it, it's gonna be fake.
The S2000 can throw that flame if it wants to, hav'nt you ever seen the flame thrower competitions? There's Chevy Novas throwing 50-foot flames up in the air. The flame looks nice, it's what people wanna see.
You go ahead and make a realistic racing movie and you'll be like all the other "midnight-racer " documents which are boring as hell. And you'll see how little money you'll make with a realistic movie.
What you see as a "ricer", others will see as a nice car. I love stock-looking cars and my aim is to have a fast sleeper and I really dislike body kits but I like that green lancer. I don't care who calls it ricer, if it runs a mid-12 1/4 mile... it can get-away with looking like that.
I'm not tryin to flame you or anything but thikn about it... THIS MOVIE WAS'NT MADE FOR RACERS!!!

true, but i thought that the movie could of had less plot holes such as when paul walker was shifting for the 15th time on the highway in the EVO VII and the infamous "pedal shot" occurs and they show him shifting when he's using the pedals from the GT-R O_o!? or how about the time when the supra made it over the bridge and made a hard landing and when it landed it had stock rims from a MKIV Supra?

wait wait wait it gets better...you know that it definately wasn't made for racers when......

this part in the movie when paul walker has to choose a partner for the operation and the detective brings over his assistant.....paul walker goes to him and says(in order to test him) "what's a better engine for my skyline? a Gallo12 or a Gallo24?" people in the audience actually said "Gallo24" and some thought that it was a trick question and answered "Gallo12" and they were looking at me funny when i said an RB26DETT....i had the last laugh when Paul Walker's character said to the detective "i'm not gonna work with a guy who has no knowledge of what's on his cup, let alone about cars" or something like that (the assistant had one of those jumbo super gulp cups of soda that said "Gallo's Pizza" on it) so in the end i was the smartest one there

Nope, he's not being sarcastic. It's true that some people are so stupid that even though they saw it on the cup they still said it. I'm not flamin those who hate it or those who like it, but it's not supposed to be real. Yeah, they made mistakes, so does every other movie. The first Matrix had over 150 mistakes in it. And for HogieGT-R, anybody who goes to the movie to look so intently for mistakes is bound not to like it, because you're not really watching the movie. Not being rude, it's just the truth.

I hate it. I saw the first one, even thought it was decent. I tried to look through the bad acting, and all rice feeling of the movie. I hoped that the second one would have some muscle cars in it. Then i saw the preview, hell even the preview looked like it had terrible acting. I abondonded any idea of going to see this movie and decided i would put my Z28 in the car show(as was mentioned above) God they wasted perfectly good camaros on that movie didn't they!!! This movie wasn't supposed to be driected toward racers? Then dont' call it 2FAST 2FURIOUS, a name like that implies fast cars and some realism. I think i enjoyed the movie Driven than i would enjoy the movie 2FAST 2FURIOUS...

The move "Airborne" was'nt exactly about flying. "The last action hero" WAS'NT the last action hero to show up on a screen. "Scary Movie" was'nt exactly a horror. The title has little to do with what the movie is about... most of the time. The first one had cars as one of the main points in the movie, even though the second one did'nt have much to do with cars, naming it a similar name to the first movie would make people wanna go see it with the thought that it's the continuation to the second one. It's all for money. Has to do with cars/DOES'NT have to do with cars either way, similar name... similar money. If they left out the cars in 2F2F it would have nothing much to do with the first one, but they added cars and said it's the sequal to TF&TF which would mean... MORE MONEY.

For whoever thinks that this movie is too fake, go watch movies that are very realistic and you'll notice the majority of them are alot less entertaining. Fake stuff: entertainment.

okey doke, i'll just go watch my copy of Video Option's coverage of the D1 Japanese Drifting Grand Championships, where $100,000, 500hp RWD Japanese monster cars squeel their tires for the entire video, and i guarantee you i will be 1000 times more entertained then sitting in a theatre watching a CGI-manipulated scene of 4 riced out cars "drifting".

thanks for the idea!

Thats why I said>>> the MAJORITY of teh realistic movies.films are less entertaining.

I know those drift films and the best-motoring documentaries are better. That's the reason I said the MAJORITY.

what about car crash documentaries? demo derbies? or stunt cars? i agree those midnight street racing vids suck...so don't watch them! but most of the rest ain't bad...unless it's about car's older then 1930, in which case it's time for a snooze-fest.
