the silvia may be nice and all but the skyline has superior engine power. your gettin more power from the start, and you have a 2.5 straight 6 over a 2.0 four cylinder. over here in america, alot of people who have the real skills and have enough money usualy tend to swap in the RB 20 or RB25 over the SR20 becasue of its superior engine power and higher top end potential. plus even though the skyline is a lower model, its still a higher class car then the silvia

Really it just comes down to personal preferance- and I'd have the Silvia- simply because the R34 GT25t is fugly

also the Silvia is more comfortable IMHO (The R34 is cramped for a car of it's size)

I've been in both cars now. Both manual coupes.

A guy renting with me has a 2002 S15. It very smooth on the road and almost seems to gluide. As he goes through the gears the acceleration never seems to change within reason. It does not feel explosive by any stretch.

The R34 GTT I was in has a pod filter done to it. It seemed to be a bit more laggy but that is to be expected with the weight difference but pulled much better and had much more "explosive" power if there is such a discription for these two in standard trim.

Handling seem pretty even though the R34 seemed to have more body roll. As a passenger they both seemed to have about the same leg room but hell I am short aye

I still would take the Skyline based on the platform of the two cars and the potential with minor upgrades.

Silvia's got really nice handling, but the Skyline will eat it for breakfast.
