New figure set

I hope this has not been covered already, if it has, I'm sorry.

Anyway, it looks likes we're in for a new figure set from Tamiya. kit no. 24266 'Rally Mechanics Set'.

Sounds great! Has anyone got pics of the box art or any photos of this set?

It has been mentioned here before, but that is not a big deal, apparently there will be more info released at the next major hobby show Tamiya attends......don't quote me though, I am only going on rumor and speculation.....

I look forward to seeing some photos of this set too.....

That damn maths teacher!!!

Just had a thought, surely its unlikely that there will be 5 new kits announced soon. Maybe there will be more metal plated kits, perhaps a full view Enzo and only one or two new toolings?????????

Spots 61 and 62 are already occupied by the 2002 Focus WRC and the 2002 NZ Peugeot 206 WRC, so that leaves 3 spots for guessing about.
I didn't think the metal plated kits got a complete new number did they, just an additional annotation.
I would imagine that since there are 3 numbers which we don't know who they belong to, we can hope to see some new kits, or new variations on existing kits, in those places.

I really hope one of them will be a Ford Focus WRC 2002 or 2003 body. or some GT3R in LM!

Ah, that's where i went wrong. I knew there were 3 spots unaccounted for coz someone mentioned it the otherday, i forgot the enzo wasn't the last 1/24 kit.

I don't think we'll see metal plated kits as they are assigned totally different numbers as opposed to '24...'. My hunch would be variations of existing kits.
