Anti-theft devices.

What's the best kind of anti-theft device or type of alaem to put on a new car , prevent it from being stolen ?

Just had a bad experience...

There was a cool one that had a snake on the box, I'm not sure if it was called the Vipre or the Cobra, or maybe the Pithon, it was pretty cool.
