Question bumper stickers?

i was just wondering about stickers on a bumper, theres an Si up the street from me with a sticker on his thats a while oval/circle and has like IRE with an L goin thru the E kinda on an angle, i'll try to take a pic next time i see the car if i have my digi with me but i was wondering if maybe it was imported over here and they put that on there??
it seems like the sticker stands for Ireland but i'm not sure, hope some ppl can shed some light on this thanx

I would like to know what those mean too.

I've seen cars driving around here with those kinda things stuck on.

I see those all the time. For the most part they're just showing love for a country, like "UK" or "SZ" (Switzerland) or "DL" (deutschland, a.k.a. Germany). Not necessarily that the vehicle was imported from there, just that the owner likes that country.

I have seen some that are imitations of them, like "DMB" (Dave Matthews Band), etc. So, "IRE" could mean ireland, but usually, it's straight type, usually no slanting letters like the "L" or anything...

Yea, I see those a lot here in the states too ... never seen the slanted letters like you are taking about.

Parking on the front lawn still blows those stickers out of the water
