speed sensor?
hey i got a check engine light and it's my speed sensor and i was wondering if it affected anything or if it's just fine? dose it affect performance any

Check Speedo Cable
When my car does that, it's because the speedometer isn't working. That usually happens when I'm changing the oil filter, and I brush up against the speedometer cable and pull it just a little bit out of its housing in the transmission.
You might check that. Is your speedometer working? Flunky

yea it's workin just fine. i even checked the speed against another car.

I doubt it will affect your performance as far as accelleration, but if the computer isn't getting all the information it needs, it will affect your fuel mileage.
And your cruise control won't work, if you have it. Flunky
