ran my stock 94 celica GT at the track yesterday.
well i took my red 94 celica GT 5spd to the track and ran three times.
first run i launched way to high and smoked the tires through the 60 ft got a 2.7 60' and ran a 16.7. that was embarrasing. the second run i launched at about 2500 and got a decent launch. i caught a .504 light and got a 2.4 60' and ran a 16.317 to this guys olds 442 that ran a 16.314. but he jumped with a .004 light so it looked like he won out. last race i grudged matched another stock 98 celica GT. he jumped the line with a -.048 light to my .480 and got a decent 60' a 2.31. and ran a 16.1 to his 16.9. every magazine test said it only runs a 16.4 stock. and trust me this car is as stock as they come. toyota clutch and all. not too bad i though im pretty sure with a few more runs i could have gotten into the 15's but oh well not bad i thought.
