I was sorta wonderin this myself...
I got whatever D16 is in the 92 EX....

if it's like $150 for the head and it gives a significant add of power it's worth it, as long as it's not a huge bitch to install....
anyone got the answers? it seems like something common but i haven't heard of many ppl doing this...

I was just wondering if putting on a DOHC head was possble because i figured it might be a boost in power... a moreso hypothetical question for me because me and a friend were talking about it.

And instead of making a new topic i'll see if i can get it answered here

what motor is in a 92 Civic EX? it's the 1.6 SOHC VTEC
My friend said D16Y7

Sorry it's just not possible. It would've saved me some damn money on the swap.

92-95 EX= D16Z6
96-00 EX= D16Y8
