new supra engine
Okay heres the deal: The average 96 tt 6spd supra will cost me around 26k However, I found a great looking automatic stock supra for only 13k. Lets say i could get the gte engine with 6sp transmission for around 6k. How much would it cost to drop that into the stock supra? Or would it even be possible for under 7k?
Thanks for your help. I've been savin up for a while and now im just lookin 2 get the best price on a supra with the least hassle.

You can get into JDM 2JZ's for roughly 2200 dollars. As for the tranny, I'm not sure on how much they cost, but they are a Getrag and I'm sure they are not cheap. Parts and Labor though will more than likey be over 7 grand or real close to it. I think it would be cheaper to go with a factory twin turbo 6 spd.
