Car Audio Problem
Hey guys... I got a 2003 Civic EX and I just purchased 2 12" MTX's, an Alpine CDA-9807 headunit and a Rockford Punch 200 4 Channel Amp. My friend and I hooked it up on the Civic and got it all working before we placed it back into the slot where the head unit goes. Then, we turn the car up, clean up the inside (behind the HU, where the wires are) with electrical tape, and then shut the hood/trunk and then come back out like 5 minutes later to go tune the amp and the Head unit would not come on. We double and triple checked all wires, connection and fuses. Everything was fine. My friend thinks it could be the headunit, but I just bought the damn thing today. Anyone have any ideas that we might have overlooked? Anything would be appreciated... thanks!

not likely a bad head unit ......... so it's got to be either a loose wire or a blown fuse somewhere if it worked before. Remember, there are some fuses under the hood too.
