Question Program Remote Entry?

Does anyone know the procedure to program the remote entry for a 2000 Cadillac Deville DTS?

Well, I finally found out. You have to have an expensive ODB II scanner, model 2 I think. The $200-$400 scanner to reset diagnostic codes won't do it. Even the car's internal display, pressing the display's on/off and display up buttons simultaneously for about 10 seconds, can only display and reset codes. It can't do it either.

I got lucky, since the Remote Entry I was trying to program was supplied by the salesman I bought the car from, my service contact did for me for free.
