programing remote entry for a 1999 eclipse with a HYq12ABA remote

i was wondering if anyone could help me and tell how to program a HYq12ABA remote for my 1999 eclipse rs.

I went to the dealer to get that done because they told me i had to change something on my computer which i thought was a tone of BS but had it done anyway and i saw them "program it" they did plug the computer in but i think it was all for show because i was standing right behind him. All you do is turn your car to the "on" position and push in a code on the rear wiper button, yes thats right the REAR WIPER BUTTON. I dont know how many time he pushed it though but after you push it "X" amount of times you push the lock button on you remote and bam you got it. I dont think you need any special tool or anything, do some research and tell us what you find.

i have tried to do some reasearch and all i can find is that if you buy the remote they give you a book to program it but i cant find the instructions without paying for it... i did call a dealer and they told me exactly what you did.. i do thank you for your reply though

juss call the dealer or go and get it done. shouldnt cost you
