My first kit!(R32 skyline)

This is my first model kit ever...I'm a huge fan of the R32 and drift cars generaly and when I saw this R32 in a shop I thought I should built a plastic model kit sometime...

Well one week later and here I'am with some in the works pics!I've seen many R32's in the board but It's my first kit ever so don't be harsh...(Or be harsh in order to help me get better!)

The engine is almost finished and needs some wring(but I think I leave that for my first project...some time later),Color is gloss black(not too gloss since I haven't pu the clear coat yet) and the interior looks like cream leather in person(not white like in the pics!)

Hope you like it sorry for the crappy pics and my bad english I'm waiting your comments!

Looks very nice for a first model!

Once you have clearcoated it, may I suggest you give it a cut and polish, then a wax. And reading the FAQ will help if you haven't read it already.

Looks great for a first model!
Just for a few tips, when painting things like those parts on the engine
(the part you apinted pink and silver)

You can mask them off with Tamiya masking tape. (tamiya is preferable)

And the silver part you could have used Bare Metal foil (do a search on it if you don't know what I'm talking about)

It is like a sticky foil you could put on a section of a model then cut of the part you want chromed.

I've already read the FAQ but I'll go with just clear coat and wet sanding for the final glossy finish! It's already gloss but not like the real thing!

About the engine is not pink..lol is red but the webcam doesn't help to take good pics!Sorry!

Of course I have masking tape but the engine parts was an easy job that I thought I can do with brush!!!

For the bare metal foil I'm really interested but I can't find nowhere in greece plus that I like more the silver for the engine parts since they must look used...Both transmission and engine cover are black washed here and there to look more real!
I hope to have more pics soon!

P.S:I uploaded some pics of 2 new kits I bought but I lost the number I got from the upload page(since windows suck!0.How I can retrieve them?Should I upload them again!

THanks a lot for all suggestions and good comments!
