1/24 Nissan Cedric

I can't believe I been building models for more than 4 years already. However, I slowed down alot and this is a build that I never expected. A Nissan Cedric.. Build out of box. Just a fast build.

Color of car is Pearl White...Luckily manage to do it as clean as possible...
Now why I hate white? It doesn't show the shine when you take photos....:P

I love clean builds! Other than the unpainted mirror and the rear wheels a bit off the model looks like it's real.

Everything works together nicely, I especially like the wheels. Great work!

Re: 1/24 Nissan Cedric

That does it, I'm buying a bunch of models here pretty soon and they will be Cedrics, Cimas, Cressidas, Q45s big Toyotas/Lexus and the like. I have grown VERY fond of the VIP scene......Maybe I'm just getting old and want something COMFORTABLE! lol

I feel your pain as far as the difficulty of painting white. I spent 3 hours or more cleaning ALL of my airbrush components to prevent spots in the paint on my J30/leopard build....it helped, but still found plenty of trash.

You did an outstanding job on this one. To bad the back glass doesn't fit very well. Otherwise, it's a superb build.

Most Nissans of that era come with black mirrors because it's just easier to grab a set off the shelf and stick them on. Plus them being black makes them appear smaller, therefore they don't take away from the beauty of the design of the car itself.
